Some personal rambles under the cut
A while back I had asked for you guys to send my darling little Yarn Lads some fanmail, and I finally finished working on the video of the lads reacting to your messages! It's definitely clunky, I've never done a project like this before, so it was very much an experiment the whole way through (just like Vic would have wanted >:3) . Thank you to everyone who sent in a message and enjoy!
24th of July
Started off at the British Museum! We went to see the mummies again in an attempt to spot the mummy most resembling Kharis, visited the Sutton Hoo and Early European section, and the Asian section too!
We then went to Highgate cemetery which was GORGEOUS, and I believe the opening to From Beyond the Grave may have been filmed among these vaults… No yarn lad pics out of respect for the dead there (the rules prohibit posing objects for pictures without permission)
And then an amazing final activity… a Sherlock Holmes walking tour! Yarnlock and I had an amazing time and the tour guide and other people walking with us loved him 🤠of course I have been to 221b Baker Street before but there were a lot of new locations I hadn’t seen yet including the Sherlock Holmes pub with a replica of his study on the second floor! Underneath are my sketches of the day! I intend to add one of Sherlock’s statue but I’m currently resting up from a long day so that’ll come later. 😊

I had asked about ideas for stop motion projects with the yarn lads a while ago, so here’s my first idea for a little video, inspired by a friend’s suggestion! The Tarantula returns to go after Yarnry… but Yarnlock won’t let that happen!
