Harefeth, The Great Wolf

Sword belonging to Ishtiel Ymleth Al Yare, an Elven general who fought in the War of the Sea alongside the early Lirrans against the Sea King, Nepatharon.

During the War of the Sea, when the continent of Yarezel was raised, to prevent further encroachment West by the Sea King’s forces, Ishtiel is known to have saved a pack of wolves during the magical, violent upheaval.

In the many centuries since then, he has become a protector for the many generations of wolves decended from the pack he rescued, even as the forested land of Yarezel dried out and desertified, Ishtiel found a way to keep his pack safe and prosperous. For this he has earned the monniker, The King of Wolves, or the Great Wolf, and, after losing his sword during one of the final battles of the the War of the Sea, was gifted this new one, celebrating his efforts to save the wolves of Yarezel.

4. Prince Nynshuel Llameryn-Leolinius Ymleth Al Yare

Born in the Year of the River 904 in Hannith Nyr/Midnight

Prince Nynshuel is the son of an Archprince of the River Realms and an Elven ambassador. He and his sister, Princess Illyria fled the River Realms with their Elven mother during the Second Ilain rebellion.

His mother was killed during their journey to her home of Yarezel so Nynshuel and his sister were raised by their Uncle Nenshenel Ymleth Al Yare and his family. Living in Yarezel gave Nynshuel the full benefits of his Elven heritage and so, when he returned to the River Realms almost a century after he left it, he still had the appearance of a young man. He had followed in his mother’s footsteps and become and become the Yarerin Ambassador to the River Realms early in the reign of Archking Lothair II, mostly overseeing the export of the highly valuable Bluestone.

As a child of both the River Realms and the Yarerin, Prince Nynshuel not only has a deep understanding of the cultures and ways of both Kingdoms, but also worships both the Goddess of the River, Lir and is also a follower of the Reverence of Gold, the ancient Elven Faith.

Currently, Prince Nynshuel resides in the largest of the Vitrian Free Cities, Tell Leilan, where he assists the Master of the Vitrian wing of the Blue Hand Syndicate with matters requiring secrecy and subterfuge…

I clearly have a thing for landscapes featuring giant crystals...

This place is called the Bluestone Desert, or Yarezel, by its inhabitants. I sort of accidentally made a conlang for it... this is a spell to call a westerly wind in the language of the Yarerin (the people of the bluestone desert):
