Lapis Lazuli, the stone of ancient knowledge

💙 Lapis lazuli is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized for its vivid color since antiquity. It consists mainly of lazurite, along with calcite, sodalite, and pyrite, which gives it a unique sparkle. The name lapis lazuli comes from Latin and Persian roots meaning blue stone.
