elegy, the now corrupted & fucked up elder deity that has been reduced to dual's literal fucking dog, the god eater. she was originally the deity who controlled & watched over the spawn, made sure everything went alright. she worked alongside gravity (elder deity of fate etc.) to get ensure everything was a-okay

but. elegy's really gone now. so that leaves the spawns to handle themselves because, shit, gravity aint gonna do all that. so the spawn has been managing itself for EONS

therefore, thats why councils / groups of lesser deities are so independent & have less faith in the outside, in the inphinity. because although they acknowledge & most of the time, respect the council- but they don't fully understand why they're held to that status. its also why alot of demons are born with curses & all that (darkheart, vine staff, etc.) because nobody is managing the spawns. nobody is making sure these demons aren't constantly suffering & that they don't have something they aren't supposed to have

so, in conclusion. elegy is basically dead & dual ruins everything. the council is leaving us all
