Checking out the "Competition" (Yao and Charlotte Francine)
Charlotte Francine made her way to the restaurant of a man she had meant just a few days ago. She had wanted to see what sort of food he served there and what the quality of it was. She wanted to see what she had to compete with. Even though, if the restaurant didn't cater, she probably wouldn't have anything to compete with. But that didn't matter to her, Charlotte already had her heart set on saying something about competition to Yao as a sort of pickup line when she entered. Yeah, that seemed like a good idea. Even if he was supposedly "taken."
Charlotte Francine entered the restaurant and caught a glimpse of Yao. Immediately, she waved and called out to him. "Hello Yao! Are you ready to show me just how good this food of yours is? Because I'm ready to see if you're going to give me a run for my money." Charlotte internally sighed out how the words didn't come out as smooth as they did in her head, but oh well. It still sounded pretty nice in her opinion.
The Tiniest of Hiatuses
[ hello my lovelies! this weekend, I will be going out of state to visit my sister who I haven't seen in over a month, and thus, I have decided not to take my laptop. this means I won't be on the dash or in the chat! let's just say that Kiku is doing the same as me- he's visiting his parents for the weekend. I might pop in on mobile every once in a while, but all in all, I'll be focusing on spending time with my family, which I miss dearly (even though you guys are like my second family :3).

They hadn't been dating for long, but Kiku couldn't deny how head-over-heels he was for Yao. Never before had someone made his heart beat so fast, his stomach turn upside down, and render his brain almost useless. It was somewhat of an illness that he didn't want cured.
Still, the awkward and somewhat socially inept Japanese man was almost clueless when it came to romance. Physical and emotional affection confused and scared him a bit- yes, he had his "Romeo moments," but they were few and far in between.
For Yao, however, he'd always try. This his how he found himself stood at the Chinese man's doorstep, clutching another painting in his shaky hands behind his back, waiting anxiously for the other.
