Everybody has some kind of scar. Send me a ? to hear about a physical scar my character has, or a ? to hear about an emotional/mental scar.
Natalia was thrown at a wall in the girlâs bathroom at college, just when she got out of the hospital. She sighed, wiping off a slight stain of blood on her lip. âFuck this.â she shook her head, and sat on the floor for awhile. Eventually, hearing the creek of a door open, most likely a bathroom stall, and footsteps approaching she got up and opened her eyes to see a female, who she just new was this very well, popular girl in the college known as Matilda.
"What? Are you here to bash me down too?""âOf course not! That was cruel of those girls! Itâs sad to even watch!" Matilda shook her head, and then grabbed onto both of Nataliaâs arms with a little smile on her face, as Natalia herself just widened her eyes."Youâre Natalia Arlovskaya, right? I watch your local movies! Youâre an actress for Belarusian movies here, right?""⌠YeahâŚ." She wasnât all that much of a big star yet. But then she did small movies for now. Too scared to go to a bigger picture.
"Youâre my new roommate! I heard about you being absent for a few months, but youâre my roommate! And Iâll make you my new project!""Project?" Natalia sighed, "Thereâs no need for that.""Well, I donât like seeing people like you getting bullied! Thatâs a big no! So come on, letâs go to our room!"
Generally, Matilda made Natalia the actress she was. Encouraged her to go for her first major international movie, she made her look and feel more pretty, they had their little secrets, talks about boys, things like that. They were two great friends. Well, that was, untilâŚ
Natalia had her first international movie premiere. It was going to be a hit. It was entitled, âCan you see the stars?â. The director was a hollywood famous director, her co-actors and actresses were all pretty much experienced while she was very unfamiliar with the whole international aspect. Well, she did it after months of hard work. And Natalia was at the premiere, walking the red carpet, her eyes scanning around the paparazzi for Matilda. She was running late. She gave her a ticket. Eventually an interviewer for live television came to her and asked, âNatalia! Why did you decide to go global?â"Itâs simple. For a friend." she said, nodding at the camera, proceeding walking as people took pictures and then to the point where she arrived to the front doors. Still no sign of her close friend. A common motto of her friend was âDonât worry, be happy.â Thus she didnât exactly get all paranoid over it. Eventually she took her seat, still no Matilda. She was supposed to be seated right next to her, considering it was reserved. Where could she be?
Matilda drove, humming a playful tune. It was 8:30, 30 minutes until the movie would start. She drove as safely and calmly as she could, trying to get to the theater. She did not want to miss out on her friendâs first international and big movie. She got her phone, texted to Natalia, while keeping an eye on the road: âHey, Nat! Sorry, Iâll be running a bit late! xoxo Mattyâ Unfortunately, Nataliaâs phone was kept on silent in her purse. Matilda was almost there, it was just around the corner. She⌠drove past the red light, because it was around 10 minutes âtil movie. And well, she had an accident. Matilda and another car, drove right toward each other. Matilda⌠died.
The accident was loud, the movie was about to start. Until Natalia heard a crash, she ran with her heels toward the sidewalk of the theater. Her eyes widened.
The whole world turned around for her. She ran toward the two cars that crashed, at least hoped that the two drivers and the passengers were safe. Fortunately, the driver of the opposite car and the passengers werenât harmed. But⌠Nataliaâs eyes stared blankly. The blonde hair, the skin tone, the eye color⌠Like a doll lying on the ground, her friend, Matilda, was covered in blood and wounds.  âMatildaâŚâ Nat clenched her fists and yelled to skies, âFUCK NO!â she panted. Eventually seeing her purse, opening it to see the text she sent her, and eventually a small piece of paper. She opened it,
Hey friend! Iâm glad you made your first hit! I wrote this letter for you back at college since I knew youâd make it! I believed in you that much. Look, I love you as my dearingest and most lovingest friend ever! (Even though those are not legit words) but, hey! I wish you have fun with your hollywood life which you will keep on, and I believe that, donât question me! And also, make sure you find the right guy someday, okay? We wouldnât want you having another asshole boyfriend, am I right? Haha! Iâll hook you up on a date sometime! Oh and we should try you wearing wigs next time, got it? Costumes are fun to make! Oh and I got a ribbon for your hair for this occasion! I always have it in my purse but I hide it from you, haha!
Remember dear, Donât worry, be happy.
Tears swelled up into the corner of her eyes. She lost her best friend. No, this was⌠No. Nat shook her head, reaching into the bag to see the ribbon. It was a ribbon she made for her. As police and ambulances came rushing in, the audience of the theater seeing her at the scene, crying silently, removing her bow and placing the bow she made for her on top of her head. ââŚMatilda..â she muttered, as she went to her corpse and held her hand. âIâm sorry I wasnât with youâŚâ
