Sorry I didn’t get to this yesterday, but I have a free minute to answer this right now. 

Okay, so I haven’t been in the fandom for a little while so I’m not sure if the current Kaneki would classify as Yamineki or not. 

From what I can tell, people started referring to him as Yamineki right around the time his hair color changed back to black (around the time of the Tsukiyama Raid). From what I can tell, he’s far more confident than the previous Kanekis and seems to have retained some of Haise’s humor. He also continues to wear his glasses. 

Going through his tag on Tumblr, you can see some fanart people have drawn of him though in canon, it seems that this is what he looks like

It seems he’s more of a mix between Shiro Kaneki (the white haired one) and Haise, and that he tends to shift between nice sweet joking Haise, and Shiro’s more sudden and extreme behavior. 

Again, I haven’t read the manga in quite some time and am not super involved in the fandom so some of my facts might be a bit strange. My timeline, I got mostly from the Wiki to draw things together, please don’t me mad if I messed something up.

This has been in my asks for a long ass time and I apologize. 

Yamineki glared at the young boy who was talking to his little girl. Some would say he was jealous of how much attention his little girl was giving this boy. But nope. He claimed that was NOT the case, he claimed he was simply keeping an eye out for his daughter, because even at a young age boys could be dangerous. His s/o would always nod with amusement in their eyes at his attempt to justify himself.

Deep down, he knew not only was just being protective, but jealous as well. 

He had to suppress a growl as the (y/h/c) girl took the flower from the little boy, not missing the surprised blushed from the blonde boy. His s/o chuckled as they watched the youngsters (really dunno how I feel about that word…youngsters…nope, still dunno).

 “Relax, it’s just a crush. It’s not like they’re gonna get married when they’re older.” His s/o smiled, resting their head on his shoulder. 

“And you don’t know that they WON’T not marry each other when they grow up,” He retorted sharply, receiving another small laugh from his lover.

“D/N, come along. Let’s go get ice cream,” He called out. The small girl nodded excitedly and gave the boy a kiss on the cheek, causing Yamineki’s eye to twitch. The girl happily bounded over and took her father’s hand and her mother/father’s hand. Now skipping in between them as she hummed as small tune.
