JeffPAWA did a delightful Let’s Play of You and I.!
If you’re curious about my silly little 3-day game and want to check it out, here’s a nice way to. ( He’s are SO enthusiastic about the game it just makes me so happy o: and makes this Let’s Play a lot of fun to watch! )

The game suddenly earned a lot of attention yesterday, with this Let’s Play and a lovely review on RMN! I was already considering doing more with this characters; now I know that I must.
You and I. - DOWNLOAD HERE (Windows Only)
Fermat and Victor find themselves summoned to a sealed church in the woods with their memories a jumble. As their memories slowly fall back into place they realize that they are in fact heroes who have been called to vanquish an evil Demon Overlord who is close to breaking free from the seal holding him in the depths of his castle. However, everything is not as it seems, and our heroes find themselves fighting an even bigger foe - their own conscious - as they press forward hoping to do what they think is the right thing.

You and I. is a pointlessly silly little RPG game that I made (mostly) in three days just because I had the urge to MAKE something but didn’t have the time to use that little thing called effort. In the process, I roped Indrah and Racheal in with me and together using an engine none of us had any previous experience in (RPGMaker 2003; I grew up with 2000) we spat out this thing in a week’s time.
The battles are horribly balanced in the favour of the player, and for some reason the program sometimes crashes before the second last battle. (please save often; we’re trying to find the source of this error, but I think it’s a 2k3 glitch at this point), but I think that the story and characters are charming enough!
Take it with a grain of salt as it is. It did its purpose - it let me make something and scratch that itch. I hope it’s somewhat enjoyable.
