"Our first impression was that Albuquerque was really exciting and beautiful; we were really happy when we saw the people waiting for us, and then when we saw our family it was the best. We were pretty tired from the travel but of course it was worth it!!

“As the snow keeps falling and we get ready to travel to our host communities, we start to listen the words that Meg and Daman have told us during our sessions. All the tips, motivational phrases and stories of Jefferson’s compromise with his cause here in Charlottesville and all over North America makes us feel like there is nothing that we the Youth Ambassadors can’t do. All over this week we have learned how the engagement with our communities can make a difference, organizing them and sharing our vision of the future, what we believe that we can improve and, most important, why. As organizers of our projects and representatives of our countries, we will keep learning how to develop our leadership skills for going back to our countries, ready to make the changes that we have dreamt to see all our lives, hoping to never forget this huge experience with the U.V.A staff. Thank you all for this opportunity and the time you spend in preparing us for doing our best and never let a difficulty defeat us❣ Speech - Debate - Compromise
