fantasy is great because you can learn a lot about a person based off of whether or not they’re comfortable. key word, comfortable. participating in fantasy racism. but then fantasy also sucks. because it forces you to realize that most people will jump on the opportunity to be racist when they’re told it’s okay. and not only that, but they will defend this as harmless fun. despite the very real tangible consequence being poc quite often not feeling comfortable in fantasy fan spaces. and before someone pisses on the poor here, i am not saying participating in fantasy racism is inherently bad, sometimes it has narrative purpose, sometimes you want to unlock an ending in a game. what i am saying, is if you consistently choose to participate in fantasy racism every time, if you’re comfortable with it and find it fun, if you defend this when someone proposes the idea that it may not be entirely harmless, you may want to reflect on this a little bit.

i have two options for this. i can do one pov for this next chapter and keep it... like consistently in one pov. which is fine, and likely the easier choice, and I think it'll work okay.

or, this can be a clusterfuck, "lemme pack multiple pov in here and answer some fucking questions in one go" which is where im leaning, bc otherwise I will not write in those povs. but is that confusing? should I just keep it adam's pov with these two exceptions?
