So I finally got my hands on my prescription. I went with Xyosted auto injectors. Took me an hour to calm my nerves (I hate injection needles. Tattoo needles are fine). Was an idiot and looked at the needle in the tube. When I finally tried doing it I didn't realize how hard I had to push it down, so i chickened out and had to take another break lol. trying the second time was a lot easier, and thanks to the sensation of the plastic ring digging into your skin, you seriously cannot feel the needle at all! I'm a sensitive guy and I thought surely i'm going to feel something, anything, but no! So if you're using the auto injector because you're scared of needles, don't be afraid to put the injector down and do something else for like half an hour to calm down. It helps a lot. Okay, bye!

Could this be a solution to needle phobia and anxiety on shot day? There seems to be hope. I plan to ask my endocrinologist about this option for myself.

So... Yeah! Huh. We'll see how it makes me feel tomorrow, I suppose!

Hey there! I switched my form of T last week actually! I used to do IM injections where I would draw up the T and switch needles and do all the syringe stuff myself, but now, im on xyosted, which is a SubQ T auto-injector (like an epi-pen). I am on the 75mg shot weekly as opposed to 90mg of the IM shot weekly. We are hoping that my T levels will stablize and go up on this new form of T. However, if any of you are thinking of switching, it is expensive if your insurance doesnt cover it.
