Humans being scavengers implies there are things worth scavenging for in silent hill- were do these things come from? do they just show up, or do the nurses work part-time to make food or somethin?
Most of it is just random canned goods that tend to show up in convenience stores around the town? Nobody knows where they come from, honestly. But they’re not expired or anything. The next thing scavengers tend to go for after food are things like pencils, tools, scrap metal, wood, things of that nature. Weapons typically aren’t something they scavenge for- they don’t make a habit of letting monsters get close to them so a pocket knife or other small weapon lasts them a while.
Usually though, scavengers go out to find food and then scurry right back to wherever it is they hide.
