Imagine every terrible pick-up line. “Tie your shoes so you don’t fall for anyone else,”; “Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?”; “This shirt is made of boyfriend material”; the whole lot of them. If they are terrible but also kind of funny, Elee has probably used them.

Hopper has exactly one method of flirtation, and it is to go buy two of a food item he knows the person he’s flirting with likes and be like “oh man I ordered one but they gave me two haha WEIRD do you want the second one?”

BONUS answer! The first time Everett asked Jesse out:
“So you, like, LIKE things, right? Cause there’s, like, a band performing tonight and I’m kind of…all of it? And it’s pretty okay but I figured that, you know, if someone cool came and really liked the show then maybe the band would also become cool.”
(Both really wanted it to be a date, but Jesse was afraid it wasn’t a date and also really wanted to support the band, so they grabbed all of their friends [just Joe] and a random elderly couple to come to the show with them. Mako had a similar but much more intentional incident on his first date with Mauve, dragging Tready along to the date in a worried panic. Mauve still refers to that day as their “practice date.”)
