“just be honest with me, roman.” the female was pleading for that at this point, she was tired of feeling this ache in her chest whenever he was around lately. so much was weighing on her mind and she needed these answers in order to be able to move on or look past this. “am i wasting my time here? do you want to be with me at all?” morgan never pressured such a relationship out of him but lately the signs have been mixed and it’s been driving her absolutely insane.

a slow, winding breath leaves pushes through her nostrils as she sits at the table. palms pressed to the edge of the table, leg hooked over the other, cocktail centered between her arms.   a date, a date, a date.    sybill could not recall the last time she’d been on a date, nor could she recall the last time a friend thought she was ready for any kind of relationship. but, sweet chiara, her favorite companion, had thrown this together. had convinced her to wear the little black dress and the strappy heels; the expensive perfume and go light on the makeup. not that she had a choice.  she waits, eyes flickering over the restaurant’s dining room until she catches sight of him, the man who looks like he’s looking for someone too.   “are you here for a blind date?”  she calls out, a little more confidently than she looks,  “if you’re not, you’re now morally obligated to say yes because i refuse to be embarrassed.” 

atticus' loved being with the other, she’d felt like she’d truly found her soulmate, life with them was good. she was currently busy in the kitchen making them dinner, she finished work early today and she thought it’d be a nice treat. she hadn’t suprised the other in awhile, she was busy with cooking when she heard the front door go, “hey!” atticus’ calls out, excited that the other was home, “i’m just in the kitchen”. 

“  well,  this  is  where  i  live.  ”

ANOTHER  DAY  AND  ANOTHER  EVENT.  there  was  nothing  too  special  going  on.  boring  people  and  even  more  dull  conversations  ;  aaron’s  face  hurt  from  the  fake  smile  he  had  put  upon  his  face.  he  was  looking  forward  to  a  good  glass  of  wine,  a  hot  shower  and  sleep.  there  wasn’t  someone  waiting  for  him  either  way,  only  a  small  and  minimalist  apartment  and  was  getting  used  to  it.  only  when  a  client  kept  talking  to  him  (  and  aaron  pretended  to  be  interested  )  eyes  wandered  around  to  find  a  distraction.  face  almost  went  white  and  his  mouth  dropped  open  mid  speaking  and  no  more  words  found  their  way  out.  his  lungs  almost  crashed  beneath  his  chest  and  aaron  needed  to  take  a  large  breath  to  be  pulled  back  into  reality.  it  couldn’t  be  them,  could  it  ?  but  he  knew  it.  he’d  recognized  them  everywhere.  even  after  decades  apart.  with  an  unbelieving  but  bright  smile,  aaron  excused  himself  quickly  and  approached  them.  “what  on  god’s  earth  brought  you  to  this  pitiful  place  ?”        ╱          𝐚  𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝  𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫  𝐟𝐨𝐫  @xnothero​  !

Jack’s trying hard not to freak out. It’s so stupid. He knows there’s no real danger anymore, that the moment has long since passed, but he can’t seem to calm down. “Sorry,” he chokes out, taking a shudderingly deep breath when Jordyn takes and kisses his hand. That...helps. Touch always has helped, ever since he was a little boy clinging to Ma’s leg in crowded places. “I was at work and, uh, the, uh, the elevator broke down and I was inside and the lights went out and I was stuck in there alone for an hour.” Now that it’s out he feels stupid, childish, but also freer than he did moments ago.
