New XKit hidden on Firefox
Short post on how to re-enable New XKit after Firefox decided to enforce its new extension policy.
First, click on the hamburger menu in the top right to get a big dropdown. Second, click Add-ons and themes to go to the add-ons page.
On the Add-ons page (also known as about:addons) you can manually re-enable New XKit by clicking the toggle.

i'm going crazy. the trim reblogs option isn't showing up for me at all. other functions of xkit are working. i've tried it on both mozilla and chrome, deleted all of my drafts, reinstalled, deactivated then reactivated the option... nothing!
Is this happening to anyone else? It’s incredibly irritating and it’s been like this for ten minutes.
It is so annoying. I try to unlike posts in my favorites but they simply stay there. I know of this tumblr bug for years but I have the feeling it got worse.
There are more and more posts like this in the last weeks. Even with xkit it doesn't get shorter.
//Know what I miss? The MUTE button in X-Kit. You could mute a blog so it didn’t appear anymore and not have to deal with the eventual “why aren’t you following me anymore” whining when it’s their own toxic behaviour that caused it. It’s the same thing with blocking. At least with mute, the other blog had no idea.

@new-xkit-support When will Tag Viewer return from the war?
Hey friends so I have a new laptop now and I’m adding back all my XKit settings, except posts I’d notification blocked an eternity ago are no longer blocked on this new laptop, and if I tried to find those posts by scrolling down my dash it would take an eternity. Does anyone know of an XKit app that would enable me to pull up a post I made a while ago on my dash so I can block notifications on it?
