~ A/N : Yo! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything but I’m just trying to figure out how to get my life together again. The new semester started last week and I’ve just been trying to figure out when I have time to write with my busy schedule. I’ve also haven’t been feeling so well lately, mentally and physically, so I’ve just been spending some time taking care of myself. But anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this! how you meet : 

i imagine that you would meet through dancing 

okay so just for backstory, you’re a dance instructor for this dance company

kinda like 1Million

and you choreographed a verse from Lay’s ‘honey’ for your class

so for business purposes and to help your studio get some traction, you contacted Yixing’s manager to see if he could come to the class 

it’s good business for him too, afterall 

anyway

his manager agrees and over the next few days you set up a time for Yixing to come to your studio and learn the choreography

so Yixing visits the studio in the evening 

and he’s kinda tired, cause he had a full schedule that day 

but since he’s Zhang Yixing, he gives 101% 

so you teach him the choreography and you finish late at night

so you guys decide to go out and get some coffee afterwards to toast to a successful night

and so you can replenish your energy

Yixing walked you back to the studio so you could both grab your things and head home 

and on your way back

Yixing asked for you number

but since he was a bit too shy to ask you out, cause he wasn’t sure if you were into him 

which duh, you were 

but he played it off to sound like it was for business

first date :

so i think he would want to make things kinda special for you 

but i don’t think he would go all out 

he’s more of a ‘less is more’ kinda guy 

cause i mean

after you guys worked on that choreography class months ago, Yixing decided to add you to his team 

and you had been doing some exciting things as his dance instructor 

you had been to fancy team dinners, you both had done some interviews in different countries, been behind the scenes at music shows, etc.

and so Yixing wanted to so something that wasn’t too fancy, but also something that wasn’t too simple 

so for your first date, Yixing takes you ice skating 

in his mind, ice skating was kinda like dancing, right? 

wrong. 

definitely not the same

you both were slipping and sliding on the ice

helping each other try to stand up, but failing miserably and you both still fell

you held onto Yixing’s arm so tight that his arm basically turned blue 

but you two still enjoyed it 

giggling every time Yixing fell flat on his butt, and him doing the same to you

and when you guys got home 

Yixing would make a couple cups of coffee while you ice your bruised butt

you cuddled up on the couch, buried under all the blankets in the house just watching a romantic film 

and when the moment was right 

Yixing would place a sweet, chocolatey kiss on your lips

living together / couple life :

Yixing might not always be around to cook for you since he’s always touring or running about doing idol things 

but every now and again when he’s got some time off, he makes sure he cooks your favorite dish for you

he’s also a big cuddler

and during bedtime cuddles, he would hum and sometimes sing soft lullabies to help you fall asleep 

but when he’s not home to do that, he tries to make it a habit of facetiming you before bed 

i’d also expect some flirtatious banter

and he’d write so many love songs about you, whether they actually make it on his albums, or not 

he’s always using you as his muse 

also I feel like when one of you is playing music in the house while your working or cooking

there will be a dance party 

i imagine you guys would get a puppy together, but like a small fluffy puppy 

when he returns home from a long tour or if he spent a week or 2 at the company, he would always bring you flowers 

he’s just sweet like that 

he thinks you deserve nothing but the best 

and he intends on giving just that to you

arguments : 

arguments don’t happen often with Yixing

he personally isn’t a big argumentative person

but when the situation presents itself 

it’s mainly due to his forgetfulness 

and while you’re able to forgive him for a majority of things 

like picking up some shampoo on his way home 

or forgetting to take the trash / recycling 

but things like forgetting a date because of work 

or missing an anniversary because of work 

is something you have a hard time forgiving him for 

because while he is an idol, and you understand his work can be very demanding and time consuming 

but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt any less

Yixing would always apologize and do anything he can to make you feel better 

and you end up forgiving him because you know he doesn’t do it intentionally
