Anyway I totally think Xiao and Kazuha should definitely interact, both of them are living their lives in devotion to a dead friend/comrade, except one's bound by duty that directly harms him while the other is looking for a way to honor his friend's legacy.
Kazuha and Venti are pretty alike in the sense that after the death of their friends, they live their lives freely in their place. But I have a feeling that Kazuha still has some sort of underlying grief that he actively holds on to, much like Xiao!!!
Idk I just like the thought of the two of them healing together and having a shared sense of grief huhu

headcanon that kazuha is naturally popular with girls because he’s quiet and mysterious but also collected and cool, just has that calm look in his eye. it’s really alluring and though he never finds the interest to reciprocate, he does give his fair shy wave and small smile to the liyue city girls who hide behind their handheld fans and blush, giggling
headcanon also that xiao is Not popular with girls. he’s dark and mysterious but also a disaster; making random eye contact with him is the polar opposite of what it’s like with kazuha, with xiao’s resting glare and crossed arms, the naturally closed off and somewhat scary aura he provides
if you mix the two together you get xiao and kazuha walking together in liyue with girls fawning over kazuha then yelping in surprise when their eyes fall on xiao, xiao grumbling under his breath and walking faster ahead so kazuha has to jog to catch up and tug on his sleeve like “well if you growl like that and stomp away then they’ll REALLY hate you”, or in diluc’s bar when a girl takes a seat at the barstool next to kazuha and starts flirting with him, xiao sits there awkwardly and stares like 👁👁 over kazuha’s shoulder

re last post, but now that i’ve more or less solidified having kazuha and xiao on my team the only upcoming chara i want (besides sayu, but she’s more to have and less to use) is gorou
gorou, kazuha, and xiao dynamic?
off the bat: horrible synergy. i am so sorry. geo/anemo/anemo will definitely be so hard to use with 0 reactions save for lumine’s electro but sometimes it’s more about the dynamics than it is about the mechanics
we do not know ANYTHING about gorou’s character but i bet he’s a serious team leader with a good heart who also manages to be extremely snarky and cheeky
kazuha and xiao meet and then go to inazuma where kazuha introduces xiao to gorou, his other friend. xiao and kazuha get so caught up competing with each other that they look away for one second and when they look back lumine is giggling behind her hand and gorou is flirting with her
thus births a new mutual enemy: gorou.
it’s more so an affectionate rivalry than it is genuine dislike but still that does not stop the two of them from ganging up on him; pranks, tripping him over in sword practice, stealing his seat next to lumine whenever he stands up, etc.
i can just imagine xiao and kazuha looking at gorou flirting with lumine, looking back at each other, nodding their heads and shaking hands to put aside their mutual dislike long enough to get rid of the dogboy threat
and it’s in this time of mutual agreement that they actually get to know each other, to actually become good friends. at the end of the inazuma arc, they can laugh together and trust each other, and if xiao’s glad that lumine loves anyone else but him, he’s at least glad that she loves someone like kazuha.
