many pplr v freaked out abt long covid, rightfully so, nd many ppl think iz fake. there r only these 2 sides 2 the conversation: the pandemic nvr ended/everyone shld still mask/this iz unprecedented/its a disabled genocide/we r disabling ppl 4 life and nahhh lol. but i feel like I haven't heard anybody talk abt the fact that many illnesses can come w similar problems. notably polio, which iz not much ov a problem anymore 🤞 but which wld yknow....leave ppl crippled. like roosevelt, thats why he waz in a wheelchair. nd fkn mitch mcconnell iirc had it az a kid and haz had problems that idr 4 his whole life since. and so hes clashing w the current administration ovr vaccine policy ns such lol. illness nd fever during pregnancy can cause neurodevelepmental problems 4 the baby. i had a very weird, very very long shingles infection that may or may not have given me epilepsy nd may b related 2 other Problems az well. and definitely paralyzed my face 4 ovr half a yr, am still regaining muscle function from this nd it was ovr 3 nd a half yrs ago. epilepsy from viral encephalitis iz a known thing, along w brain fog hallucinatins other such thingz. nd so on. wen I get properly sick I often get like 15% more horrified by everything 4 like a month after. my brain enters some kind ov deeply unpleasant mode and it gets better as I get better but than sticks around 4 a while. same thing happens 2 my sister exept she also gets full on hallucinations. we definitely don't have fkn any kind ov effective public health messaging or knowledge abt this, especially in america, where we dont believe in knowledge or getting sick. idk wat my point is. we shld take this more seriously and less seriously. its been happening 4ever. its always been a problem and also bad. mb its fine. but its definitely not. one ov those or something else mb. we shld def research these thingz more we r 4 sure doing a really bad job w that. and we shld like significantly improve ventilation and air filtration in public spaces. ok okok heres the take: bring back indoor smoking. bcuz then we'd have 2 improve ventilation and air filtration in public spaces.✌️ bergamotz 4 king 2012 ✌️
