“I know…” she could only muster up that single phrase. It was one thing to get mad at someone when they spill their milk on your shoes, but it was another crazy thing to yell at someone for exactly four minutes in a public cafe. Wow, indeed. “She needs anger management classes, that’s for sure. I’m just hoping she’s not a boss of someone in an office.... if she was my boss, I would either re-sign from the job or cry every time she would yell at me.” she crinkled her nose. She was one tough cookie, even though. But if the situation were to happen to her, the most likely result would be the latter. “Imagine having a friend like that.... I’d be cautious the whole time i’d be around them.” 

“Oho, do I really?” she says at the other one as she narrowed her eyes, obviously being a little tease to the other. “I’m kidding.” she lets her body tip to the side to nudge her, a playful grin on plastered on her face as she did. “I know I know, you don’t have to remind me for three times! Plus, i’m 19! I can take care of myself now, you know! I’m practically an adult.” she says rather smugly before yawning, looking at the other. “Do you have to leave soon? And when will you be back, though? Are you going to bring food--” with the last sentence, the young girl squinted. “You better do bring food-- or else i’ll be... TT.” she gestures, of course she would promo her own group.

‘What? I merely asked you if your mother never taught you any manners, didn’t I?’ Unfazed, the elder grabs his latte from the counter, eyebrow quirking in quite the condescending manner. ‘Shouldn’t you be controlling your temper?’

‘Oh?’ For a moment, the words catch him off guard. Seojun is very well aware of the age difference between the two of them, but he had thought of the other male to at least be old enough to make his own decisions. Was it a joke? Perhaps, but now that the confession had been made, he couldn’t help but to use it against the idol. ‘I guess I’ll have to drink your cup too, then.’ Without giving the younger the chance to protest, his fingers uncurl from the sugar cube that had been hidden inside of his palm, letting it sink into the liquid with a soft splash. A smile easily lights up his features at that. ‘Thanks, ‘saeng. I’ll make sure to enjoy it twice as much.’

A scoff escapes his lips, and as annoyed as he could have been by the intrusion, the look on the elder’s face somehow amuses him. ‘What, you don’t like to perform in here? I heard your voice sounds better when you sing inside of a restroom.’

‘Are you getting sick? You must be getting sick.’ A click of his tongue could be heard if listened closely, his attitude the easiest way of convincing himself that it had just been a prank. ‘Next time you’re hungry, just give me a call, alright? Ah, you shouldn’t be searching the dumpsters just for that.’

‘There would be no need for me to lecture you on your temper if you weren’t such a sore loser, right?’ His eyebrows knit together in what appears to be quite the challenging look, placing the deck of cards flat on the table. ‘If you lose the game, you’re paying for dinner. If you lose your temper, you’re also paying. And if..’ A short moment of silence, a mischievous smile spreading across his face. ‘And if you don’t lose the game, you’ll also be paying.  With the amount of money you earn, you should feel bad for even taking the risk of me having to pay, Jonghyun-ah.’

‘I don’t need to do anything.’ His words lack any kind of subtlety, but they do reveal his true feelings ever so easily. Being ordered around had always been something he detested, and her announcement had sounded an awful lot like an order. There was no way he was giving in without an explanation, famous idol or not. ‘I’m sure you’ve got enough people to fix your business for you—whatever that may be.’
