Character in general: I love Mr. Keating. I have always loved him. Looked up to his character, ever since I was a kid. So having a roleplay blog for him… it’s amazing. Plus, I think it’s a beautiful tribute to Robin Williams.How they play them: Flawlessly, that’s how. Like, oh my god. I don’t know how they do it. They must’ve actually written the movie or something.The Mun: THEY’RE AN ANGEL OF SWEETNESS OH MY GOD.

The Doctor and Charlie chuckled, feet scuffing the floor as they made their way through an otherwise quiet corridor of Mr. Dalton's new school, having transferred after Neil's death. His parents had been against it, and being the stubborn kid that he was he went ahead and dropped out anyway-- thus losing the support of his parents while he and a few other friends followed their Captain to his next place of employment.
Stopping in front of a half open door to a thought to be empty classroom, The Doctor put his hand on the kid's shoulder. "Hey Nuwanda-- see you can still smile. Those who leave us don't want us to be sullen and worry so much-- they want us to thrive and survive... maybe in a way they couldn't." He let his hand return to his side as Charlie resumed a sobered up glance to this strange mentor. The Doctor continued, "If he's looking down and watching over you and the others, show him how great life can be-- live for him. 'lright?" He playfully hit Charlie's arm, and received a small smack in return.
"Thanks Doc..." He scoffed a bit sadly but smiled through it, "Better get to class, even with a time machine you've managed to make me late."
"--Oi get outta here. And read up on your Shakespeare. I don't want you to embarrass me when I take you to meet him." He shook his head as Charlie ran off, then turned and noticed the professor that was now at the door, "Oh, sorry I didn't mean to disrupt you-- I thought the room was empty." He paused then nodded at Charlie who was now at the end of the hall, "Student of yours?"

he reminds her of the professor, in all the best ways -- the two of them could be brothers, with their love of words. in lieu of greeting him properly, she smiles, stepping quickly into the classroom, and recites:
