tch. {` runs a hand through his hair as he steps over various pieces of rubble, a bit disturbed with the entire death and destruction thing but hardly willing to say it aloud — vector, you're better than that — only pausing upon encountering a woman who only stares back } well— {` he brushes the back of his hand under his nose } i guess i should attack you. {` starts by increasing the gravity on her body, hoping to drag her down to the ground — where a small, steel pipe juts from the debris }
{ `she had been making her way back to the school—undoubtedly the only safe place left in the chaos—helping those she saw on her way there.  it seemed that a majority had already been helped by her fellow students, though she still kept an eye out for the unfortunate } hey k— { `she isn’t even given the opportunity to offer a hand in good will before the world’s weight began to drag down.  she stomps her right foot and lets herself sink into a lunge position, pushing upwards with all the might her power would allow.  she feels her body bruising and cracking and her head spins, but she refuses to give in just yet.  dark eyes maintain contact with the perfect stranger, communicating a fuck you that was ultimately defiant in nature } — { `she huffs, unable to even ask why this was happening before her legs finally give.  she sees the steel pipe, which had been floating there all along, out of the corner of her eye, sheer moments before it headed for her, sharp end gleaming } — { `no matter what she did, it didn’t seem to intend on changing course—the mutant stranger was strong—and so she does all she can do.  bones creaking against the gravity upon her, she forces herself into the best protective position she can manage—a half arsed armadillo—and makes the pipe explode.  she can only hiss in pain—shrapnel having pierced her fallen frame—as the stranger makes his leave, not before murmuring, as if in awe— } she was a mutant… ?
