(/ shudders from his damp clothes and can feel the warm blood on his face from that small open wound – but it couldn’t stop him. the originally quiet and laze-about mutant was now determined and not about to give up on all these people who now depended on him despite the situation at hand. jaehwan pushed himself up onto his toes to get a good look over the crowd of people, the main street was covered in devastation – stalls were being ripped down and fire was everywhere, consumed everything)

Getting out this way is impossible… (/  jaehwan tries to keep quiet to stop himself from scaring the already terrified people, he can feel a teenage girl’s grip on his hand tighten even more than it had been at the start and his attention shifted to her for a moment – offering a smile) it’s okay! (/ he didn’t want to promise anything, but if he hadn’t there would be too much fear in their eyes. jaehwan looked away from the small group and across the chaos again – quickly he spotted a turn off the main road onto one that was a smaller side road) There! (/ if he could just get these people out of the main stream, it would be so much easier to run for their lives)

(/ jaehwan motioned for the group to follow him and with a gentle tug the teenage girl followed quickly beside him, they moved closer to the buildings – as far away from the carnage as possible. he was feet away from it and he could feel his heart about to burst from his chest with the sheer adrenaline of this escape and that they were so close to being there)

… (/ but his legs locked up when a figure entered from the side street – a man jaehwan had never met before but the feeling he got was one of strong unease. the man seemed so sure of himself, so calm unlike jaehwan, in this time of panic. it caused him to move the girl behind him and pry her hand from his. when the man smiled at this – jaehwan realized what he had to do)

(/ the first volts of electricity he gave off were enough to skin an animal, the second would manage to immobilize a man, the third shot off his finger tips with enough electricity to kill you where you stood. each shock ken aimed was dodged with no effort at all, before ken could even comprehend it the guy had gotten close enough to punch him straight in the jaw and it would leave a large bruise the next day. ken retaliated with his own punch, one of metal force and charged like a tazer – again he ducked out of the way and punched ken once again hard enough to bruise the skin)

(/ as the unknown opponent went in to punch him again – jaehwan reached forward to meet him with electrified hands. but as if he had known from the very start – the man once again moved out of his range by taking a step back for every step ken took) … who are you? (/ he yelled over the noise and the man smiled in response)
