My beautiful and talented girlfriend drew Xeren!! AHHHHHHH!

He looks so good! The art is amazing and I’m going nuts over this.

Who responds? What do they say?

Xemnas’s unnerving stare never left his indignant own in the brief amount of time it took for the man to cross the room to rest in front of Xeren and the others.

“Of course I did. You were not an integral piece to our goals and so I owed you nothing.”

A choked gasp slipped free before he could manage to restrain himself. Xeren swallowed back the lump in his throat even as he summoned up a triad of shadow orbs, staring down his superior.

Axel was right. The Organization is nothing more than a joke. You are nothing more than a joke.

Amber colored eyes narrowed upon his face for a moment before a sneering sort of smirk appeared across Xemnas’ face. “Pity you won’t see the punchline.” He retorted as he raised his hands to summon his own elongated lasers.

Various voices full with laughter at the leader’s words flowed through the air as the young keyblade wielder searched the area around him with a deep frown. Just who was these jokers anyway?

Portals of darkness emerged only to fade away, revealing several cloaked figures of differing heights. Not a single one showed their face, all lined up behind the one who had spoken. The laughter quickly quieted as they all peered down at the child below them. One in particular leaned just a little too far forward and stumbled, only to be yanked back just in time by his fellow beside him with a muttered curse underneath his breath.

“Stay still, you fool!” They hissed, jabbing at the man’s side.

Ignoring their behavior, for now, the leader took another step forward as he watched the young boy very closely.

One of the boy’s companions gasped. “Organization XIII!” He exclaimed, adjusting his grip on the flimsy shield. It had to be!

The menacing air seemed to intensify as Sora waved his keyblade threateningly. As he spoke in defiance, the last figure in the end tilted his head in silent astonishment. For such a young age, the boy certainly had some gumption to him. To speak toward Xemnas as such? To treat them like they were of no dire consequence? Either this Sora was more naive than any of them had originally thought or perhaps there was more to the boy than meets the eye. He wondered how their future confrontation would go.

Even with the hood blocking the figure’s face, it was apparent that Sora sensed his piercing gaze and turned his head to meet with one of his own. That determined look, the slight disdainful sneer. It was…intriguing to say the least.

Then again…this was the very same boy who had defeated some of his predecessors.

So Xeren is number XV of the Organization but he kinda just came out of nowhere. Xigbar was the one who stumbled across him just shortly after Xion was introduced which caught Xemnas’s attention immediately. Pretty similar to both Roxas AND Xem, Xeren has no memory of his life as a Somebody so it’s kinda like painting on an empty canvas which both makes it harder and easier to manipulate him.

He has selective mutism meaning he CAN speak but more often will not. It’s almost like a paralytic fear of using his voice unless he becomes really close to someone. Fun fact: Axel was the first person in the Organization to hear him speak which annoyed Xemnas upon discovery. (I’m still working on Xeren’s interactions with Xemnas). Xeren tends to sign or use gestures to get his point across.

His power is basicially manipulating shadows and using them as a weapon all on its own. Not quite exact like Pride from FMA but close(?)ish. He prefers shadow orbs themselves but they can take whatever shape he puts his mind into.
