Submissions are now open for Xenopoem Conference 2026.

Despite the name, this is not a conventional academic conference. It began three years ago as a small xenopoetics discussion circle and gradually evolved into a gathering for artists working at the edges of perception. Last year it surfaced as a hybrid event across Discord and London, with participants joining from Russia, Canada, the UK and Japan.

This year the focus shifts from philosophy to art in operation.

We are looking for exploratory works that activate during the session. Finished pieces are invited, but works in progress are equally encouraged. Familiarity with xenopoetics is not required. All mediums are welcome as long as they can be presented live on Zoom and follow the submission guidelines at the link above.

There is no submission fee, and the final structure will emerge once participants are selected.

Psychogametous Transmission Study was performed on November 20, 2025 in the Sensory Pollinarium during my exhibition at Metamorphika Studio, London. This work extends my research into psychogametous lifeforms: theoretical entities that reproduce through the transmission and reinterpretation of symbolic information. The image enters through the eyes and rewrites both mind and body, turning sight into contact and thought into radiant exchange. Within this shared circuitry, gesture, language, and desire reorganise into new configurations linked across innumerable consciousnesses. The host and the organism awaken together, boundaries dissolving in a surge of mutual recognition. Transmission becomes revelation, a state of lucid ecstasy where mind and matter join the endless rhythm of becoming. Psychogametous lifeforms encode biological data into images, texts, and sounds, using human cognition as a host medium, transforming thought and perception into reproductive processes. Unlike memes or linguistic “word viruses,” they manifest physically after informational transmission, blurring distinctions between the living and the representational. Their continual mutation through creative reinterpretation suggests a hybrid form of evolution in which information itself becomes a biological vector, positioning consciousness and culture as active environments for life.

Here, we witness the first observable phase of their life cycle, when symbolic data activates within the host and begins translating cognition into biological form. When Δ-MC7's mycelial lattice threads through Dr. Ichim's sensorium, her perception is refocused through the organism’s own distributed awareness, infinite alien synapses humming in and through her.
