Psychogametous Transmission Study was performed on November 20, 2025 in the Sensory Pollinarium during my exhibition at Metamorphika Studio, London. This work extends my research into psychogametous lifeforms: theoretical entities that reproduce through the transmission and reinterpretation of symbolic information. The image enters through the eyes and rewrites both mind and body, turning sight into contact and thought into radiant exchange. Within this shared circuitry, gesture, language, and desire reorganise into new configurations linked across innumerable consciousnesses. The host and the organism awaken together, boundaries dissolving in a surge of mutual recognition. Transmission becomes revelation, a state of lucid ecstasy where mind and matter join the endless rhythm of becoming. Psychogametous lifeforms encode biological data into images, texts, and sounds, using human cognition as a host medium, transforming thought and perception into reproductive processes. Unlike memes or linguistic “word viruses,” they manifest physically after informational transmission, blurring distinctions between the living and the representational. Their continual mutation through creative reinterpretation suggests a hybrid form of evolution in which information itself becomes a biological vector, positioning consciousness and culture as active environments for life.

Here, we witness the first observable phase of their life cycle, when symbolic data activates within the host and begins translating cognition into biological form. When Δ-MC7's mycelial lattice threads through Dr. Ichim's sensorium, her perception is refocused through the organism’s own distributed awareness, infinite alien synapses humming in and through her.

2 Out Of 3 is an iterating, animated graphic structure for musical improvisations based on rock-paper-scissors-shoot.

Alex Nathanson is a creator and organizer of images, sounds, and events. He has been hyperbolically described as a, "video effects guru," and poorly described as, "difficult to describe."

Rachel Devorah Trapp and Brad Henkel are Brooklyn-based musicians and composers.

"The Secret Soup"

The Secret Soup is a realtime system for improvised audiovisual composition. Referencing audiovisual synthesis techniques, custom digital interfaces control two oscillators and looper with 1:1 visual counterpart. Lines move across the frame while the oscillators are played to create an audiovisual gesture. This gesture is looped and a new gesture is created forming a call and response using waveforms as the vernacular. In this way a tableau is sculpted and layered to create rich tapestries of light and sound. A narrative of abstract forms emerges as the composition becomes more dense and complex over time.

Gocha Tsinadze aka Droneclone creates live compositions using  a computer, found sound, sampling and generated sound.

Using real time looping and live manipulation he weaves a dense, ephemeral  sonority traversing  dub, experimental and ambient  landscapes.

Matt Romein is an interactive programming artist that works primarily in the performance/video spectrum. His visual work is developed using a real-time video processing system he has created in Max6, tentatively called Ichorous. Starting with simple generative images, he uses various optical flow and feedback layerings to construct ambient folding landscapes.

Title: Water Supply

Sofy (@horusVacui) is a media artist and educator working with video, interactivity, projections, code, paper, and salvaged material. Her work focuses on techno-occult rituals, street performance, and participatory art. Sofy's performances enact and reframe hegemonies, she works with materials that exemplify our deep entanglement with petro-culture. At Outpost she will meditate on the acoustics of plastic bottles and their associated waters.

"Protected Waterways"

Peter Shapiro (pisces), will be presenting a visual mix titled Protected Waterways. Exploring our relationship to the water that surrounds us.

He will be using Quasar Wave recordings created by Harlan Emil, to get all of us vibrating at the same frequency

Peter Shapiro has been making "video" since the 1970's. Spawned as a video artist from The Experimental TV Center. While ensconced in frame buffering, colorizing and waveform generators, his focus, from porta-pak to pocket camera, is documenting the world around him. Interested in celebrating the behavior of people, as well as nature and changing environments.  petershapiro.com

The energy was... unusual. 

John (professor) felt that many people weren't fully dedicating themselves to the class and the exercises. So today he told us he was going to push us hard, which I was excited for. I LOVE to be pushed and criticized and inspired. 

However, I don't feel the kind of trust in ensemble that I think we need for this kind of work. It's hard to stay with something, to amplify, to let it affect you, and then bring it outside of yourself. It's harder yet when you don't know and trust everybody in the room. 

That brought me a decent amount of anxiety. Granted, that anxiety was useful. I used it in the exercise to amplify and let that affect me too. It was just intense... and difficult to let myself let everything that was going on come right out to the other side of the room. 

Anyway, I couldn't get it out of myself. But it was in there, bouncing around through my blood, pushing, begging to be released. I wish I could have let myself relax into it, trust myself and trust those around me to receive it well. 

This points out that this project itself is for a grade, that gets lumped in with the rest of my grades, that get averaged out for a cumulative graduating GPA in two and a half years. This shows that this piece cannot be pulled apart from the fact that the creator is creating the piece within the confines of a classroom, for an audience of undergraduate Media Theatre students, catered to the content of John Zibell's direction.

1. Resistance: The "players" could do something that physically represents resistance. For example, three players would watch one person do something catchy, and the three players would resist joining in when they hear Danielle reading, but join in on the moments that Danielle lets herself pant or moan.
