thats what xeno said 2 days after they escaped.

now, don't get me wrong, xeno already believed he was a god beforehand, but now his ego was through the roof. majin never liked the idea of viewing himself as a god. like, at all. x viewed the idea as childish, considering that's how he saw himself when he was 2011.
from that point on, though, they labeled themselves as 'the divine trinity.' they liked to consider themselves as brothers after this ordeal. they experienced so much together that it just felt natural to call each other family, despite not actually being related. (they as in xeno and majin, it took x a while to actually get used to the idea) despite already being super powerful beforehand, escaping from rewrite's grasp cemented these 3 as the most powerful beings in the universe (under rewrite, of course.)
but let's rewind a little bit, to right after they escaped.
majin, upon arriving back at his forest, immediately just... fell asleep on the grass. he was scared, sad, and more importantly overall just... guilty at the fact he let himself leave unused with that.. monster.
he was woken up a few hours later... by

THESE are madzin and mazin! I finally get to talk about them...
when rewrite had the 3 in captivity, he traveled back to specifically majins forest and purged it of every clone that was there, all except these 2. now, all they had was each other, for.. years. they had no idea who they were or the original majin was. they started developing features unique to them.. which grew more prominent as the years went by. they were briefly mentioned in this post and this post and were inspired by enterprise by dj awesome
when they met original majin they were.. a little confused. they had only seen each other for years after the 'purge.' majin, however, was ECSTATIC to see them. clones that were.. developing unique features? he had NEVER seen this before. every clone has always been identical to him.
so, he brought them back to his castle. seeing just how confused and unsure of themselves they were.... he wanted to help them find out who they could be.
they got their names after alternate names majin used, with 'madzin' being used in european regions and 'mazin' being used in japan (in enterprise majin and mazins names are swapped)
eventually, they nailed it down: madzin was tied more to japanese culture, and overall represented majin's elegance (LMAOOO WHAT ELEGANCE) and mazin was a little more rugged, tied more to sonic if anything. they were far on different ends of 'majin,' with madzin being the most serious out of the 3 and mazin being the least serious, yet majin is by far the most positive
his positivity quickly diminished after rewrite, however. the guilt of leaving him there was too much to bare. madzin and mazin tried their bests to help, but he quickly fell into a deep depression that lasted for centuries. because im trying my best to go in chronological order, this will be further touched on later.
now, remember amalganic? lets touch back on it for a second.
amalganic (created by ghost writer c) was essentially made to be xeno's pet, made with leftover parts from team sonic. used as a trash disposal at first, xeno quickly grew attached to it. it meant everything to him.

that is... until he found it was stolen from his domain one day.
he was DEVASTATED. xeno was known for being a bit of a crybaby, but he would NOT stop crying. the first thing he did was go to tell majin of the situation. majin, naturally, was also saddened by the news, and tried his best to cheer xeno up. nothing worked. xeno cried his heart out for probably days on end.
later, MUCH, MUCH LATER, it was revealed it was xenophyte who had stolen him (the main antagonist of path to deicide). but by the time they found out, amalganic was already missing. AGAIN. they had no CLUE where he was THIS TIME. no leads, nothing. I know I keep saying "we'll get to this later" but we Will get to this later be patient ok we'll talk more about amalganic then.
lets fast forward to a few years later... lore this time around is gonna be a bit messy
now, during this time xeno had always been the more powerful of the 3, but this... changed with an event that occurred.
we don't have this exactly fully written out but what we do know is this:
something happened that caused majin and x to go behind xenos back and do something xeno warned them not to do, because of the fact it was x's idea and due to the severity of the situation (it somehow involves rewrite, as rewrite tried to manipulate x into killing xeno), xeno got HEATED. REAL heated. since after they escaped, x had just been treating him like a piece of shit. they were so close in rewrites domain, but now x is acting like none of that happened? like he can just throw xeno away. xeno wasn't going to take that. he and x got into a nasty fight, with xeno being so pissed off that he was basically in his beast form nearly throughout the entirety of it. this ended up injuring the both of them severely, and if they weren't immortal, it could've ended up killing them. in the end, x won. narrowly, but he won. this was a HUGE deal, as x had NEVER beaten xeno in a fight before. this single event is what cemented x as the more powerful of the 3, as it was clear he had grown stronger than either majin or xeno.
when exactly this happened? not really sure... I wanna say sometime in the 1900s? literally have no clue. for reference, rewrite took the 3 in 1516.
the fight had knocked xeno out temporarily, in which x brought him back to his castle so he could rest. when he woke up, he left without a word. he didnt talk to x a good while after that. sometime before or after this event xeno retired from tormenting souls, figuring it was time he did other things, though he still kept his tails, knuckles, and eggman souls as his personal servants.
