So, Who’s up for a little personal update, typed on my poor ageing laptop with a only-sort of functioning keyboard, because I'm too lazy to pull my wireless set out of the bag it’s packed in?
I bought a house!
Well I’m 1/3 share in on said house with my parents because it was the only way we could afford to get a place of our own. We moved in today, and because we can’t find the cable to the modem, I’m hotspotting off my mobile for tonight. We’re 98% of the way in - just a few random bits and bobs left at the old place but the big stuff is all here.
I also start a new job on the 27th. Same industry and job title but with a new business, not because the last one was bad - quite the contrary, we had a reputation of being the best - but because my current employer did not get the new government contract to operate in my area. Which happened to all the businesses working on the outgoing contract.
So New house and New job. Kinda wish they hadn’t happened all at once, but I’m extremely grateful all the same!
