[水] - Of course, if you are new to any place, where do you need to check out? A place where you can shop till you drop. He chose to check out ‘Abra Ca Avenue’ a place he’d heard was the ‘heart’ of all shopping in Bellevue. 

Checking out the sights, he stopped to see a colorful sign which attracted his attention. Blue Roses? What kind of shop was this? Looking into the window, he could see a whole row of flowers. Lots of em!

     “Nhaa~ Look at all the pretty flowers!           So many colors and shapes! I don’t know what any of these are.       I think this one is... a... rose?”

Green eyes lowered to the ground, Keigo walked around the city aimlessly. He had always, at some level, felt lonely, but being thrown into a completely different world seemed to be too much for him. Most of his life, Keigo didn’t have friends. He was always shunned by his schoolmates, and it wasn’t like he even tried to reach out to them. Still, the fact that he was in a country with a completely different culture made him feel strange. Eventually he would get used to Bellevue.

There were still a couple of hours left in the day, and even though it was starting to get dark, he didn’t want to go back to his hotel room just yet. It felt slightly strange there, especially since there weren’t many people residing in the hotel like he was. There weren’t even many tourists. It was practically empty there.

Flumppf. While he was lost in thought and not keeping his gaze up, Keigo bumped into something. Not just something, but someone. A lady who was holding something, and it fell onto the ground. The boy bent down to pick it up for her, seeing as it was his fault.

“Come on, load, load, load...” The app was taking forever to start up. The navy blue arrows kept on going in a circle, round and round, in front of the forest background. Nanako was becoming impatient. This wasn’t like on the computer, where she would have to pick a server depending on how many penguins were logged onto it, or if you were allowed to type or not. It was supposed to just be one quick click (since her penguin name and password was already saved onto the phone), and then she was supposed to be in.

Nanako was sitting on a bench in the park alongside her Big Bro and Ribbon, her toy pink puffle. She had received Ribbon for her most recent birthday, and ever since then she tried to force her Big Bro to go for a walk with her daily to the park. If penguins walked virtual puffles, she should walk the plush ones!

Finally, the screen on her Big Bro’s phone stopped loading, and the Town appeared. “Ah, look Big Bro! I’m in! I’m finally online!” PINKOCTOBER has finally logged in. In the bottom right corner of the screen, it showed that eleven of her penguin friends were online too. But Nanako didn’t care much for them. After all, they would get boring pretty quickly, and really she wanted to have as many friends as possible just for the stamps and so that her igloo would get likes.

Her entire body felt warm when the woman handed off the perfection that was deemed a rose. Red, darkened from some abnormality of cross breading or genetics, she didn’t really care which at the time.

Nona turned to face the woman, finding it more and more difficult to keep her emotions under control. The gesture wasn’t familiar in the slightest, but as her mind was trying to find ways that this was some unrelated occurrence, her face grew closer to the shade of the rose. 

“W-why I . . . Why give this to me?”

His own blue-ish green eyes shone with such vivid excitement when he looked at the bouquet of assorted blue flowers that he was presented by the ever so lovely Amélie.

Thoughts drifted back to the time they met at the flower shop where the pretty flowers in the shop suddenly caught his interest. They had a conversation and during this time, he'd asked about whether or not blue flowers existed as it was a color that symbolized a lot of good times in his time in high school.

Eyes shinning bright, the biggest smile plastered across his face now. It was... like an ocean but like... in plant form! Just by looking at them, he wanted-- to go swimming!

Excitement and varying other positive emotions (with a slight tingle of loneliness as he thought of his friends) whirled inside his chest like a raging sea storm.

Poseidon was having a blast right now, but that's okay! Mizumachi was pretty tight with the deity as Poseidon was their mascot for his high school American Football team.

Reaching out for the bouquet, he looked at all of the different flowers, not too sure which kinds these all were, but all he knew was that they were beautiful, and well arranged.

Sure, receiving flowers wasn't particularly a manly thing, but even guys had a soft spot, ya know? He appreciated every gift that he was given, and the thoughts behind each gift meant much more to him than the gifts themselves.

He was going to try to find a way to put these flowers in water so they'd live longer. Mizumachi would want to gaze upon them any time he felt tired or sad so he could look at the pretty colors (and of the one who gifted these to him) and remember how it was time to smile again.
