What if he's so out of it that he "fixes" everything? Scar and Grian are actually close friends, Lizzie and Joel are married and Jimmy was best man at their wedding, Skizz and Mumbo are alive, Ren doesn't have dog features and hangs out with Martyn on a daily basis. What if he's imagining a life where none of them were kidnapped?

I think that Scott and Grian would get along well enough. Like, they don’t love each other, but they’re in agreement to tolerate each other at the beginning.

1. Are the watchers kinda gonna be there in the au? like are the scientists basically the watchers through their similar motivation to use the lifers for their benefit, or maybe the watchers are another third party. And if the watchers are relevant, what would their view scott be? We know that the watchers hate scott in the eyes and ears (martyns au) lore, but if they are around, why would they hate scott here?

2. I headcanon that Cam (Cambam010, aka scotts boyfriend) and scott were together before scott got kidnapped. Like image Cam putting up missing posters, talking with police, trying to search for scott for months just for the police to tell him that their is nothing more they can do and the case goes cold. And scott is just wondering if he'll ever see Cam again. If he'll ever feel his touch, or hear his voice, or see his face ever again. The only thing keeping alive his the blurry memories of their life before, when times were better than this.

1.) As of my plans right now, the Watchers are irrelevant. As soon as I thought of Ex (Evil X) being our main antagonist, all thought of Watchers went out the window. And I honestly don’t know if the purple I used for the Lacuna Labs cards is an unintentional reference to Them just for fun or if it’s just because I associate The Void with purple, haha.

As of right now, no. I have no plans for Cam in the fic.

I don’t think anyone’s asked that one yet. This is a good time to decide all that, though!

Lizzie and Joel were/are dating.

Mumbo and Grian worked together and were very close friends (there was a little more to it than ‘friends,’ but they were both always too nervous to say something about it).

Impulse and Skizz grew up together.

Scott and Jimmy went to high school and dated during that time. They broke up during the middle of their senior year (for my non-American followers, this would be either in the middle of or towards the end of secondary/higher education?? They’d be eighteen), and they grew apart after that.
