He promised himself he'd try to stay on the low when he came to Wonyang but he didn't tell himself not to get involved with people. Barely a month ago, just when he was trying to settle down in Wonyang so unexpectedly, he met someone. Someone who looks like they could be some kind of heiress to some company but on top of it all, she looked pretty cute. It was more than enough for him to say hi and the rest was history. 

So was their break up. His bank account didn't have loads of money in it, so dating her was no help to him financially. He was a struggling barista then who refused to take money out of his account. He tried to get free stuff as much as he could even though he was well off in a sense that he won't starve for half a year even if he didn't work, but he didn't want to live in his car or take full advantage of the only people he calls friends so he got himself a place and with that came along bills he had to pay. 

Winter was both good and bad, with the snow falling and the streets getting slippy for everyone, Shin was on his way back to Songcheon. He was done tutoring for the day. He made good money so he can treat himself with steak if he wanted to. Heading out of the apartment complex where his student lives, Shin has to walk down the street to a nearby coffee shop where he parked his car. The evening air was much colder than he had anticipated. 

“Gosh, it's gonna be like this till February.” Speaking to no one in particular as he walks down. Ahead of him was a woman and a couple of other people. He walks a little faster as the cold air was unforgiving. Just as he was about to pass the woman, she seems to slip and Shin, being the gentleman that he is, grabs her by the waist to balance her up. Keeping her from falling and possibly injuring herself. “Are you okay, miss?”
