WWSD?
Whenever you are in a difficult situation, think, "What Would Salazar Do?" Then, think of what Lesaro would do, and do that instead.
WWLD?
So, my Luke-loving friends... how would it have really gone down?
Luke is training his Jedi. Luke is realizing that Ben is turning to the Dark Side. None of the confrontations Luke has done have worked. He doesn’t know what to do to stop Ben from going to the Dark Side. But we all know he wouldn’t kill Ben, or even think of it.
But what do you think he really would’ve done?
I think the obvious answer is he would’ve gone after Snoke. Destroying Snoke doesn’t mean Ben wouldn’t’ve have turned (maybe he’d turn because Luke destroyed Snoke, and that could’ve been really interesting), but at least it feels like a more logical progression to make versus Luke deciding to maybe kill a (presumably not yet actual killer) young man.
My dash did a thing.

I can honestly say that Parks and Recreation's Leslie Knope is one of my hero's. I know Leslie is a fictional character but I admire her for her courage and for using politics as a way to make changes within her community. She's inspired me in numerous ways, sometimes I even find it helpful to think WWLD (what would Leslie do)? And her thriving political career is AMAZING to see on the television screen. There are quite a few women working in politics and who are hugely admirable (Kirsten Gillibrand, Hillary Clinton, & Sonia Sotomayor all come to mind) but part of the issue with making politics a viable career choice for women is that women are not always seen in political positions. Not every state has a visible female congress women, mayor, governor, etc. However, television has the means to reach people who haven't been previously exposed to the idea of a women in political office. While watching Leslie interact with her friends, co-workers, and fellow Pawnee residents it's clear she's very accessible. Leslie is approachable and willing to do pretty much anything to make her town of Pawnee better. And let's be honest, that's what people want their political representatives to be like, right? Leslie gives hope to women like me, some who might have not thought about holding a position in the government before, to become involved in politics. To become a voice for yourself. To become a voice for others. And while I love Leslie's crazy shenanigans I mostly love her for being unabashedly herself and for showing that going into politics is an option for women. So... ask yourself, WWLD?
I sent this to my best friend in 2003.
Neither of us can remember why, but I'm sure I had a damn good reason. I'm assuming it had something to do with her trying to date a guy in a gang.
The Ten Comandments of Lauren (repeat after me) 1. I will not date guys in Gangs 2. I will not screw guys in gangs 3. I will not screw with guys in gangs 4. Gangs are for life- no excuses - get over it 5. find new places to meet guys, PLEASE! 6. If you string them along, you're making it worse for yourself 7. Men are lying bastards. End of conversation 8. Valuable info you want to hear from a guy DOES NOT include how to make crystal meth and how to hot wire a car 9. If there's a little voice in the back of your head telling you something's wrong or just isn't quite right... listen to it! 10. repeat after me... WWLD?!?!
