It followed Guillermo, and none of the rest of the main cast, as he prepared to become a vampire. He was still able to walk around in the sun. He went to visit a lot of old minor characters from past episode, and he was much more confident in seeing them because soon he knew he would be a vampire too. He already had the bite, he was just waiting.

Then he has his first feed, and he is a full fledged vampire. His fangs have grown in and he’s ready.

He goes back to the house and finds everyone there. When he flashes them his fangs they all look incredibly sad.

He tells them why it’s a good thing, trying to convince them. He tells them how he will rule over the local vampiric council now that they have all stopped. He goes to try and do so but wait. The sun. He can’t go out. This is what they stop to tell him.

But Guillermo, who has spent the last few days able to be in the sun, is confident. Surly he will have the luck of being a daywalker. So he said “no, wait,” a bit smugly, “it’s okay.”

And he sticks his hand in the sunlight to show all of them.

And it burns.

He doesn’t even look. His feels it. He knows. And I’m an instant his smug exterior drops and he looks as though he’s about to cry.

In this moment they all feel sympathy for him. Being a vampire isn’t what he thought.

He can't possibility terrify them all.
