Best advice I can give to creatives is give yourself time both for output and input
What I mean by that is, creating art, in any form, can be difficult and takes energy. Sometimes you just don’t have it in your to write that new chapter, or work on that new drawing.
So when you don’t feel like you can, but you still want to be creative, consume. Consume art in any form. You’ll likely find inspiration just by working out your brain.
All artists need both. Take time for creating and consuming, making and taking, output and input into your brain.

What I will say is that 2021 was the year of character playlists, and 2022 has been the year I’ve more come into my own in terms of my taste, like exploring a lot more and not just listening to music for characters I’ve made. Mostly my 2022 says “damn, you’ve listened to your liked songs a lot”
