I’m in disbelief that nobody is criticizing England for barely beating both Haiti and Denmark in their first two matches. If this was the US, the team would be getting TORN UP about how they can’t score enough goals, they are barely beating teams they should beat easily, and how they won’t make it in the elimination rounds with this kind of play. I’ve only seen praise and congratulatory comments for England (except for a few lone posts) and it’s kinda ridiculous that they aren’t being held to the same standards as the US considering they are European champions. And I know, they’re missing key players like Beth Mead and Leah Williamson, but hello? Mal Swanson and Becky Sauerbrunn? Sam Mewis? So is the US. I’m just saying that if we’re gonna insult the US for tying the NETHERLANDS, I’d like to see the same energy being given to England.
