the daily life of a part time torturer /// : okay done with episode 3. i think ive seen enough to be able to say that this is genuinely not that bad or deserving of 55% on anilist. i think id give it about 65. it's unfortunately actually just a fun slice of life and i do enjoy it... like the torture is just. idk. i feel like atp u could replace it with a normal job in ur head and it doesn't even impact the story much because it's just treated as a normal casual job? idk though 😭
we mostly just see interactions between the staff and it's lowkey fun. i don't think the quality is bad either and i think the pacing is fine. it's not too slow or fast so i like that especially for a slice of life. i get that the torture is extremely off putting and morally dubious but i think that aside the show as a whole is genuinely not that bad everything else considered. also the yaoi moments... i have no idea if it was just added to make it more appealing but i do think they're fun. there are already 3 main "couples" and i like their dynamics. so to summarise, i probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but i don't think it's bad and if u're bored and impatient for ur airing seasonals to drop more episodes like me this is kind of a fun seasonal u can check out 😔
