Relationship with Hayati (WTMMIE Timeline):

Zain and Hayati meet in a bad, unexpected situation that leads to a temporary arranged marriage meant only for appearances. At first, their relationship is purely forced (on paper), he’s a confident, narcissistic (yes, he's diagnosed with NPD) man used to control, while she’s a guarded pessimist who expects the worst, making them contrast each other. They argue and banter a lot, rarely agreeing on anything, but neither of them backs down either. Despite the tension, living together slowly brings them closer, revealing sides of each other they didn’t expect. What was supposed to be fake and temporary gradually turns into something real neither of them planned for.

: *gasp* "No... he did not."

: "Oh YES. HE DID. HE'S AN IDIOT. My client was allergic to one of the ingredients and somehow, my idiot of an employee managed to DOUBLE THE DOSE OF IT IN MY CLIENT'S PERFUME."

: "Nah... is the client okay??"

The way I how I (as the creator) give characters powers are strongly tied to their traits, but with a twist, smh-

As I mentioned, in moonverse (aka MY universe: including MU & WTMMIE) has exisiting supernaturals (people with magical abilities ordinary people don't have). And it's like 1 in a billion chance you get that— if the character was fortunate enough to be blessed/cursed by the moon (yes, in my universe, the earth's moon contains unidentified and unknown supernatural energy, alien type shi 😼).

For Zain, as u know (or not)- he has 'psychometry' & 'tactile telepathy' abilities. This stems from the fact he believes that he should always be in control. Giving him access to people's mind, basically invading their privacy and knowing their deepest darkest secret. Which is a great advantage for him if he wanted to be in control fr. BUT every ability has it's own disadvantage— for example, Zain can ONLY use his abilities through physical touch. He can't use it obv if he's not having physical contact with someone or something (only works through HANDS. it wouldn't work either if he has physical contact with any other part of his body with something or someone.) His abilities quite literally requires him to be physically close to someone, and for someone like Zain who prides on being the best compared to others, probably considering his presence is something valuable, he doesn't want to be the one physically getting close to others 'cause that makes him look 'desperate' which is something he wouldn't want. And aside from that, each time he uses his abilities, he gets a heavy migraine, so he knows he should only use it when very important, otherwise his head would be aching for WEEKS and he hates being in pain.

"It's inefficient." (-smth he probably says most of the time lol)

NOW! For Hayati's ability— initially, I wanted it to be 'Foresight' cuz it honestly is cool already. But! Again, I wanted their abilities to be something useful, but also something that has a cost (smth bad heh). I decided to give her like a highly accurate ability of premonition, which is that 'gut feeling' or sometimes can be a 'vision' when she's overthinking. Because I personally think that Hayati is an overthinker (& me irl). Like she spends a lot of time overthinking the most random things, sometimes important and serious as a quarterly exam report, sometimes as random as that awkward "hey" exchange with a stranger. Her ability activates RANDOMLY. She cannot force herself to receive these 'future visions' or 'feelings'. It happens at a reasonable amount of time before the event actually happens.

As the description said about 'premonition', it usually is something bad... however, her visions can be both bad and something completely neutral (or good in a way). Once she starts overthinking, like in a very deep way until she is dissociating from her own self, only then she would get these 'visions'. These 'visions' can just be a random silent blurry scenary. Or it can be something detailed and highly specific. But either way, she won't be able to get the FULL content behind it. She'll need to interpret what those visions are and what they mean, before it eventually happens.

Another thing about the side effects of her ability, is that if these 'visions' actually happen (whether something extremely bad or something small), her ears starts to ring. Indicating the vision has occurred. (Kinda like a prophecy being fulfilled or smth)

And this only gets difficult for her because sometimes she can NOT distinguish the difference of her 'normal' overthinking scenarios VS the premonition 'visions'. Sooo... her power is like useless most of the time, it only adds to her anxiety and paranoia in a way... but when danger lurks, it's pretty useful.
