Have you ever tried the three color striping technique that allows you to carry your yarn up the side almost invisibly? It makes for easy stripes AND everything is nicely balanced because you're carrying the yarn up on both sides. My plans for this morning while the kid was in school included making a crochet chart and other computer work ... buuuuut I really wasn't feeling it. So instead I sat on the couch and just crocheted.
