Nearly three centuries on Earth, Saebyeok has gained a lot of knowledge for the history of not only humans, but the supernaturals as well. He likes to believe he’s well learned and nearly an expert historian. The witch isn’t much run by power, but by knowledge and he prides himself on that. If he had been one for power, he’s not exactly sure he’d still be around, those who seek power usually leave behind a trail of destruction that’s easily traced by their enemies. He’s a peaceful witch who likes to observe and help when he can or when he is needed to.
Though sometimes the urge for knowledge does lead him down interesting paths, ones he never thought he’d ever come across, but if the fates had it, he’d walk down them. He finds himself in that situation today, whether he knows it at this moment or not.
Saebyeok was not shy about him being a witch. He offered his services to any who wanted them as long as their intentions were pure and not to harm anyone. He has strong magic and those who wish to do him or others harm on his property will be unable to enter. The witch took a vow to do no harm, so he does not let himself be put into a situation where he might need to depend himself and hurt others.
This is not to be confused with protecting himself from what other might call inherently evil beings, as Saebyeok does not believe in such a thing. He’s had vampires, demons, werewolves, and other such beings into his home, most of them being he runs into most due to the supernatural pull to be around more of your kind. Although they might have done things in their past that would be rather damning, Saebyeok isn’t there to judge, but to offer help when needed. He’s helped many in their quest to be better.
Though, he was not expecting to come across a dark legend-- well he supposes it wasn’t much of a legend anymore as he laid his eyes on the first of her kind.
