Teddy Violet vs Tommy McCafferty
France has been producing some fascinating talent for a few years now. Guys like Tom Dusquesnoy, Taylor Lapilus, and Mickael LeBout have gotten some international shine and there’s been an increase in local MMA activity in France.
Teddy Violet (10-1) is off that French fight scene. A former challenger for the BAMMA featherweight title, Violet is a 24 year old fighting out of Haute Tension. He’s as a submission grappler but recently seems to have found a love for knocking people senseless.
Violet somehow found his way onto WSOF Global Championship 2: Japan this Sunday (Feb. 7th) where he’ll face a familiar face on the JMMA scene in experienced vet Michihiro Omigawa (16-14-1).
