an almost-immediate update, I put it into b flat and e flat
I'm convinced that this song works in any key and now I'm so conflicted
I want to change it
BUT DO I??!???
... I changed the key from b and e minor to a and d minor for my cut of Wrong Foot Forward just to see what would happen
I kind of love it ??!?!?!
now I don't know whether I should keep it in the original key or not ahhhhh
BUT THIS SONG COULD BE SO DAMN GOOD OH MAN
like I feel it
it could be the fact that it's nearly 3 AM but this song makes me feel things and I just like
it needs to be danced
... I sound high and I should sleep now
on a completely-unrelated-to-everything-else-I've-been-blogging-about-today note, I want to choreograph a dance to "Wrong Foot Forward" by Flook so badly
my only concern is that the first third of the song is in 7/8 or 7/16 or something to that effect (which I think makes it extraordinarily beautiful btw)
it's easy enough to get around if you subdivide and think 1 and 2 and 3 and a ... but I worry that would sound like absolute gibberish to everyone but me and Ben and a few others
I mean I think I could make it work, I've already tested out a few steps (including the reel we use in every single one of our dances) and it worked fine, it's just a little bit of a different meter
you guys won't miss that one eighth note I promise
please let me do this soooohohohohong

Wrong foot forward || Bella & Evelyn
With or without him, she was going to see the city for herself, Bella stuffed a few things into a bag and pulled it onto her back before tying her hair back in a ribbon. "Stupid stubborn man… I try to be friends with him and just ugh." Bella shook her head. "Well I'm gonna do this without him, he can kiss my ass." She had been ignoring Cindy's warnings to keep away from certain people and places, but that just spurred her on further, saying no was like saying yes to the young woman.
It was night and there was barely anyone around Fantasyland at this time so it was perfect for her to sneak down her garden path and towards the large towering castle with glared under the moonlight. She walked around the high wall, looking for a way in. Bella knew this route well as she passed the castle every day on her way to work, now she just had to find the- "Ah!" With a small smirk, she was about to advance but ducked when a police officer walked past. She waited for the coast to be clear before crossing the bridge and quietly made her way to the large doors.
Seeing a side door, Bella quickly slipped inside and closed the door behind her. "Phew that wa- wow…" Trailing off, she looked around in amazement it was like something out of her books the inside of this castle, it was dark but well looked after. It was worth nearly getting caught for. After staring at it for a few moments more, Bella managed to pick her jaw up off the floor and set off to explore, ducking whenever a guard or generally anybody came by.
Hearing voices echo down a hall, she frowned and walked towards the door which was slightly cracked open and peered inside. It looked like a meeting was taking place in there, voices were low and it sounded like the ewer plotting something, neither of these people Bella recognised by face or voice yet still had a bad feeling about this. She glanced over her shoulder in time to see someone coming down the hall, crap where was she supposed to go? Quickly looking around, she realised that there was nowhere to go so just stood there with a sheepish grin on her face. "Good evening?"

I’m sick of finding myself with the wrong girls. I've found myself with girls that didn't appreciate me, took advantage of me, and weren't looking for the same thing I was. I deserve to be in a relationship with someone right for me, that I can feel comfortable opening myself to without feeling like I'm just setting myself up for another disappointment.
