Itâs dark - darker than before and sheâs sure that means it must be nighttime by now. How long had she been gone? Lydia wiggled her fingers slowly - attempting to move her wrists - the plastic tie biting into her wrists. The chair she was in was hard - her body aching in several different places. She could feel a warm sticky liquid near her head and new the blood from earlier was slowly drying.
Lydia had been walking back from class, heading to her car when the blow to the head came. She couldnât remember much more than that. Sheâd woken up in a darkened factory or building of some sort not long later.
He was gone for the moment - not far though, she knew that. Sheâd been forced to watch as he killed the other girl - choking her with a sharp wire and then tossing her body aside like she was nothing.
Heâd cleaned up and then took the body - but she knew heâd be back for her and if she didnât find a way to get out of here sheâd end up just as dead as the other girl and Lydia couldnât let that happen. She struggled against her bindings - the plastic cutting into her skin as tears streamed down her face.
