April 27th will be the first workshop in the series of #WritewithJPInfante a monthly writing workshop at @wordupbooks with @infantejp The first workshop will be “Which Genre.” . . Should you be telling your story as fiction, nonfiction, or poetry? What’s the difference? Does your writing style fit one form better than another? In this workshop, you will read fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, examining the rules and expectations of each as defined by writers, the marketplace, and our experience as readers. This analysis will inform three short pieces you will write in class. Final Work Product: Three short pieces, each in different forms.
