Twelve in the night and the lights blew off

In the cold midnight I wrap myself in the blanket and slam my head on the pillow

My eyes close to the world,  

My mind wanders to the images of you

Living in my head.

Those brown eyes and pink lips,

Smile and charm me away.

The thick dark hair that you wave,

With a fringe up to your forehead.

You say "Hold my hands and I will take you away"

I take your hands in my dream,

and guide me through like it’s a stream.

We walk under the cloud- cloaked sun

With the trees and its leaves waving in the golden sun light

With moisture in the air.

The rainbow above us with your hand running in it,

Like it does through my hair.

I keep you in my arms from the world  

Protecting you with hope.

The words sitting on your lips, flows like a river

But even though your words were clear, I could sense a quiver.

The purity in your eyes is nothing less than a new born child .

But anger and despise was what you couldn’t hide

You tell me your stories as we sit by the bay

With rocks on our backs, being hit by the waves

Under the stars, you bend towards me  

To kiss me now and never leave me

I lean to kiss you, hug you tight

When I see a bright light

Pulling you away from me ,

I see you go with a glow

To the early morning sun I wake alone.

Laying in my bed with the quilt on me .
