In a world similar to our own, in 1888’s Paris, an Elfin letter writer, Angelus Lacroix, endows those he writers with a path to their soulmate. For insurance that the letter’s he writes he sends his messenger, Mercury Lovette, to complete the cycle, from writer to sender. Delivering these letters gives Mercury the opportunity to learn about the different types of love in the world, Eros, Pragma, Ludus, and even Mania.
