Well, wasn’t this a strange one? Shinji regarded the girl carefully, his own lips pulling down just a bit as he took in her appearance. What was she…wearing? His eyes lingered on her body for a moment longer before shooting back up to vivid red. He cleared his throat once before speaking.

“Erm— ya snuck in here from Rukongai or somethin’? You’re in the Fifth, now. Ya shouldn’t be here, though, ya know. How’d ya even get past the gate guardian?”

"Rukongai... Shiro is in the Fifth?" She looked around them, pushing up onto her toes to peek over the tall man's shoulder as if some sign would appear confirming this. Not that she would understand what that meant even if one existed. Bringing her claret gaze back to his confused visage the snow-haired girl hummed.
