Jacob and the Angel
Artist: Gustave Moreau (French, 1826 - 1898)
Date: 1874-1878
Medium: Oil on canvas
Collection: Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge, MA, United States
Description
This nocturnal scene derives from the Book of Genesis, in which Jacob, on his journey to Canaan, wrestles with an angel. Condemning Delacroix’s famous 1861 painting of the biblical passage, Moreau wrote that his illustration of the scene more accurately conveyed the futility of Jacob’s battle, as he fights an invisible and infinitely more powerful foe.
I love how everyone collectively hates MJF so much to the point that regardless of whatever beef is going on at the time, they'll ALL team up together & bury the hatchet for a few minutes to take turns partaking in the rare and joyful opportunity that is kicking his ass, fueled with a unique type of passionate, wrath filled, bloodlusting hatred that only MJF alone conjures within everyone who's ever had the misfortune of encountering him against their will

'Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring'
[PS3 / WII / X360] [MEXICO] [MAGAZINE] [2011]
"In reality, Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring is a title that fulfills its objective of entertaining, but perhaps with more dedication, many aspects could be improved to make it a true champion of wrestling games. For example, to perform special moves (locks, piledrivers, submission holds), you must shake or move the Wiimote and Nunchuk in certain directions, but the control response isn't always immediate. Visually, it's adequate; however, we would like more attention to be paid to the wrestlers' unique entrances, the atmosphere of the crowd and their shouts or chants, the spectacular show that illuminates the ringside entrance of the titans and their accompanying muses, and the continuous and appropriate narration, not just from one commentator, but from two or more to create greater excitement and realism. So, there's a long way to go if a sequel to this title is ever made." ~Club Nintendo (August 2011, Vol. 20, #08) [BMT🤖]
