The Mournful, last of the When Reality Bleeds monsters! When the Mournful appears, it's pretty much the end for one of the Domed Cities: This inmense humanoid figure ends the job started by the other eldritch entities spawned from a Reality Bleed. Unlike other creatures, however, the destruction she causes seem to be completely incidental: She finishes the job by throwing a tantrum while making a sound that could be vaguely described as crying. Some have theorized that The Mournful is merely trying to copy the humanoids she sees in the cities. Most of them are arguably terrified of her presence, and their tears become her tears. However, it is unknown why would any of the eldritch creatures seek to copy or understand humans.
