Bright purple eyes squint up at the calendar tacked on the wall as he takes a long swig of his evening brew. Slowly, the God places his mug on the desk as he stares at the various dates displayed on the hung up sheets of paper. "...Isn't your birthday coming up?" Fumus questions, his tone sounding a tad annoyed. Admittedly, the man seems to be a little unsettled by the revelation.
The devil looks up, movements slowed in confusion at the half heard question. Unable to comprehend the question for several minutes he stared, purple eyes meeting its twin.
“You mean your birthday? Can’t we celebrate that like normal?”
Surely… Surely he must have heard wrong? Birthdays were far from a normal topic for the two, let alone his own birthday. In fact, Satanick couldn’t really remember the last time his birthday was even mentioned. Was it ever actually mentioned ever? He couldn’t remember when it would be, nor when his actual birthday even was on the calendar to pick it out. Yet Fumus did apparently.
That wasn’t really a easy thing to think about, so he chose not to. Attempting would only give him a headache and a feeling of disjointment. More then he was already feeling. Why did Fumus even know when his birthday was? It wasn’t like it was ever important to the either of them. He didn’t care before, he didn’t care now. It was just surprising.
“Wait…You remember mine?”
He couldn’t decide if his voice sounded weird saying that or not. They sounded a bit far away, confusing emotions lingering on his tongue.
