Day 3 of sewing my own clothes
Today was wild. I started sewing something and ended up sewing something completely different lmao.
So I started by making some thai wrap pants with about a metre of fabric. Soon after I realised I did not have enough but sorta still went with it because I'm pretty small, like 5'3", just winging it y'know. And finally, after sewing the crotch seam, I realised that I REALLY DID NOT have enough fabric since it barely covered my sides and I'd need to like either make plazzo pants out of them(which I still didn't have enough fabric for) or attach 4 strips of fabric to the sides so it actually covers me.

I then moved on to another project because I had nothing better to do and started to make a square necked, puff-sleeved, button down croptop(ish). Which is the hardest thing I've sewn till now(it's been like 3 days-). I came up with the design myself, by the way. So I embarked on this terribly hard journey armed with but a few sketches and spent an hour drawing trapeziums(dont ask). I then sewed 2 of them together to form the bodice of the top, followed by learning how to make(puff) sleeves and cutting out fabric for them. I also learned how to make and sew darts for the shape.
So that's all for today, I did half of both projects, I'm gonna need more fabric for the first and elastic for the second😩hopefully I can get at least the elastic by tomorrow and finish the garment that is the source of all my troubles(at the moment).
