WolfQuest will never fail to amaze me with the stress of some situations.
As I’m doing a new playthrough and streaming it, there have been moments that:
- resulted me in yelling “NO NO NO WHERE ARE YOU GOING GO BACK WOOF WOOF GO WOOF” as a pup that LOVED to wander off came out of a hiding spot while we were going to a rendezvous site and a cougar was attacking. It was about 11 pm and I live in a flat btw
- the cougar then proceeded to hunt the pup who refused to go inside while I woofed her as much as I could, and each time I let go of the cougar, it chased again and was INCHES away from the pup, only for me to bite it again, and that went on for about four times and I was sure each time the pup would get killed. Also there was a mama moose right next to us and started chasing and attacking our mate and gave her a minor injury while we were looking around stressed at where the cougar was. And with all of this, the stream froze so I was the only one who could see it and you could just hear me panicking yelling and “OK WAIT SHUT UP STOP WAIT WHERE IS IT WHERE IS THE COUGAR”.
- that same pup wandered off about three times in 5 minutes. The first time it kept going in circles and we could not find it. I was thinking “ok well this pup is lost now” but somehow we found it. Then not even half a minute after it wandered off again. 03 has been named the stupid running off pup
- running too close to a bison. ohhh hello mister bison it is a nice day please do not attack me
- circling around for a very very long time trying to find a calf in hiding grass. Then having to resort to turning down graphics to the minimum so there were no other grass textures to really narrow it down. And we still circled around for a bit
- reloading ten million times fighting a wolf pack who raided our den and killed my favourite pup. Also stream froze and you could not see all the action again. Sad
- somehow nobody has died yet… if we don’t count the three or so reloads…
- and many more instances of “NO NO NO GO WOOF WOOF GO WOOF”
Also together we have named our mate Carrotcake and call her Corn because she is very orange (although… corn is yellow).
